Relaxed Wine Tasting
The best way to get to know Tasmanian wine is to visit one of Tassie's beautiful cool climate vineyards and do a tasting. We have a number of wine tasting experiences for you at Bangor. Our friendly and experienced team will lead you through our wine range in a relaxed way. Learn about our wines and how they are made, along with some of the history and colourful characters that have been part of the Bangor story for over 400 years.
Open daily, 11am-5pm. No booking needed for a wine tasting, just drop in. Estate and Reserve tastings available. No charge if T/A bottles are purchased.
A Story in Every Bottle
Our family has cared for Bangor since 1890 and our wines tell Tasmanian stories of the people who came before us. Bangor has an incredibly rich history dating back to Abel Tasman's landing on our shores in 1642, and the arrival of our convict ancestors in the 1830's.
At Bangor you experience more than just a wine tasting. You have the chance to immerse yourself into a truly unique slice of Tasmania.
Wine Tasting
Wine tastings are available everyday, 11am-5pm. No bookings are necessary, but you can book a tasting with your restaurant table.

Vineyard Tour
Take a walk through the vines, while tasting Bangor's wines. Learn about the stunning historic Bangor property, while taking in the views over the vineyard and the bay. 45 mins.
Wine and Chocolate Tasting
Our paired wine and chocolate tasting is a uniquely decadent experience. Select four wines from our estate range of wines, paired with hand-selected Federation chocolate, enjoyed in the private wine tasting room. Learn about Bangor vineyard and wines while paired with a selection of beautiful Tasmanian chocolate.
