Abel Tasman is our Flagship wine label, crafted from our best-performing Pinot Noir vines and matured in French oak.  In the tradition of fine cool climate Tasmanian wine, Abel Tasman is an elegant, full-bodied Pinot Noir.

A delightful savoury offering, leading with notes of bramble, red cherry and allspice. The palate is a bold mixture of savoury dark cherry, plum, olives, spice, and pepper, all held together with a fabulous tannin structure. Perfect match for lamb, mushroom, or duck. Cellar 10 years +.

A Note From Us

“2022 was a challenging cool season resulting in low yields. Warm weather in April saw the grapes ripen beautifully at the very the end of the season, giving good intensity of flavour. Gently aged on a mixture of new and old oak barrels, this produced a delightfully complex pinot noir that will continue to grow and reward with cellaring over the next few years.” - Matt & Vanessa
